Sephine Llo has released a beautiful lament for her late husband in the form of ‘Rest With Me’. It’s a ten-minute journey through hope and denial in the form of a celestial, atmospheric lullaby. Its first few moments are defined by a cinematic, textured build that leads toward verses filled with layers of vibrant harmony and tender lyricism. The track is made all the more emotional and deeply connected to Llo’s late husband in its use of samples from a song Robert himself wrote as a teenager. On the difficulty of the songwriting process, she recalls: “The first time I sat down at a piano after he was gone, I just stared at the keys in silence for hours and then broke down.
